All About Cowrie...

Cowrie is a three bedroom holiday apartment located on the island of St. Mary's, which is part of the archipelago of the Isles of Scilly. It is in a central position in Hugh Town, just a stones throw from Porthcressa beach on one side, and Town beach on the other, which means it's never far to go for a spot of beach combing or to relax in the Scilly sunshine. Restaurants, shops and cafes are all a 5 minute stroll away.

We believe in providing the best, so as local owners we fully renovated the apartment which included a new kitchen, bathroom, flooring, redecoration throughout, new doors, new furniture, soft furnishings and linens as well as utilities and kitchen crockery and utensils.

We are always updating and improving Cowrie to provide the very best and recently upgraded the dining furniture, installed a new flat screen smart TV and a Nespresso coffee machine for those days you want to curl up in the lounge and watch your favourite programmes with a cup of perfectly brewed coffee.

The apartment is on the second floor of a traditional Scillonian granite building and features sash windows with quirky spaces built into the eaves. Cowrie is fully furnished and provides comfortable accommodation for six in a double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, one of which can be made into a super king. We provide everything you need for your Scilly escape, from beach combing nets and buckets to locally sourced goodies for your arrival.
